Cabot Cove

My name is Carlo.

I’ve never studied graphics at school. I am self-taught and I found my passion for graphic art by chance.

In the mornings I work in a school with the disabled. I’ve always worked in the social sector. After work I create collage visions of possible parallel universes, different developments in the space-time of history.

Cabot Cove is the brand in which I put my projects: graphic agency, collagist, art-ivist. The name is a tribute to the TV series Murder She Wrote with Angela Lansbury.

Born in 1978, I have always lived in Bergamo, a small town in Northern Italy, sadly in the news for the particular violence with which COVID has hit these territories.

Totally self-taught, I started assembling concert fanzines and flyers in the first half of the 90s, in high school, continuing over time to create graphics for clubs and small venues.

Now I collaborate with some clubs, festivals, labels, musicians like Ink Club and Edonè (two best venues in my city), BergamoReggae Sunfest (one of biggest reggae festival in Italy, over the years it has hosted artists like the Gladiators, Dawn Penn, Johhny Osbourne, Ken Boothe, Agent Sasco…), Arpioni, Cornoltis, Wild Honey Records (international DIY label)…

I curated the graphic part of a museum exhibition at the Liceo Classico P. Sarpi. I also collaborated with the Municipality of Bergamo for some graphic materials.

I am also active as a street artist: one of my works dedicated to football made both local and European media talk (TG1, TG5, Copa90…).
